Summary
SLI Visão 5G project aims to develop an intelligent platform for classrooms, integrating computer vision and 5G networks to monitor, analyze, and improve the teaching-learning process. The research will be conducted within the AI and Wireless Laboratory (WAI Lab) and the 5G Network Competence Center at Inatel, applying advanced real-time artificial intelligence algorithms, focusing on human behavior, facial expressions, movement, and presence in educational environments. Furthermore, the project integrates technologies such as private 5G networks, edge computing, edge AI, digital twins, and embedded video analytics to ensure low latency, privacy, and reliability in real-time data collection and processing.
Requirements:
- Experience with computer vision, machine learning and/or signal processing;
- Prior knowledge of wireless networks and communication protocols is desirable.
Desired Skills:
- Computer Vision and AI:
- Experience with video analysis, person detection and tracking, gesture and expression recognition;
- Familiarity with OpenCV, MediaPipe , DeepStream , or equivalent tools;
- Use of AI frameworks such as PyTorch , TensorFlow, Keras;
- Data labeling and use of synthetic data for model training.
- Networks and Distributed Systems:
- Knowledge of 5G networks, private networks and edge computing computing;
- Experience with embedded systems integration and distributed architectures;
